Infant Jesus School is a non-stock, non-profit school with Catholic orientation, committed to provide quality and integrated K to 12 Enhanced Basic Christian Education to the children especially of the working families of Kalibo and neighboring towns.
With the rising cost of education, however, and the increasing gap in economic status of the families, more children are deprived of quality basic education. These children are supposed to be the future of the nation.
Growing with the zeal and commitment, as mandated by the school's Mission Statement, the Scholarship Program started in 1999 to provide institutional scholarships and hopefully to establish a Perpetual Scholarship Fund in the future. The goal of the scholarship program is to help academically able but economically deprived students complete their secondary education and to pursue higher education. Thus, the main criteria for the selection of grantees is the financial status of the family.
With the onset of K to 12 Enhance Basic Education, incoming Junior High School scholars will form the honor section which will eventually feed the academic track of the Senior High School especially the STEM program.
For the past years, the program has been able to give different scholarship grants and financial aids:
-Honors' Society Institutional Scholarship Grades 7 & 11 Scholarship
-Employees' Wards Scholarship
-Family Advantage Tuition Discount Student Assistant's Financial Aids
-GASTPE-ESC Scheme (Junior High School) Senior High School Voucher
The scholarship grant covers basically tuition fee, based on academic performance and economic status of the family. Other forms of financial aids are available based on the needs of the learners.
